Hello,A few weeks ago I sold a sweatshirt from the brand Supreme on the Vinted application to a user named ‘alecate’. Up until that point I’d had a pleasant interaction in the chat with the buyer, he was friendly and asked me to send him more pictures of the item and a proof of purchase for him to make sure he wasn’t buying an inauthentic item. As a lot of items from this brand are often remade. I provided him with all these things and he went ahead and bought the item at which point I packed it and sent it out. After getting a notification that it was delivered at the pickup location, to my great surprise and disbelief, I received a message from Vinted informing me the buyer had suspended the transaction because they weren’t sure whether my item was authentic. They asked me to provide them with detailed pictures of the item as well as a proof of purchase. I want to preface this by saying that I take my reputation as a seller on the app very serious, I am not on the app to scam people nor did I ever scam anyone. I don’t buy replicas, fake or inauthentic items. I buy clothes straight from the brands online stores or physical stores and sell the things that I don’t wear. I sell popular brands and therefore I am probably more vulnerable for dishonest people. So I sent them all of the proof they asked for immediately along with a message expressing my disbelief and innocence. After two days of only getting automated responses the order automatically got cancelled in favor of the buyer and he received a refund, without the need to send back the item. At this point the buyer blocked me and sent me a message laughing at me. Shortly after this however I got a message from an actual person, taking a one sided position in favor of the buyer without acknowledging the proof of authenticity I sent over, not taking this case seriously, falsely accusing me of dishonesty and softly threatening that if I continue this way and sell more “fake items” they would block my account. I replied to this in total shock and disbelief of what just happened and asked them how they got to the conclusion my item was fake. This was not the first time I sent out an order on this app, I had always received good reviews, and it’s ridiculous to think I would have sent out a fake item to the buyer, knowing in advance I would not be paid for it and that the transaction would be canceled. I also pointed out the buyer had already asked for proof of authenticity in the chat we had before the transaction, sent them the screenshots of him laughing at me and the multiple bad reviews on this buyer’s account accusing him of scamming, describing the same thing he was doing to me. After more than 25 messages , with as many different people. Messages with sometimes absurd, illogical and prefabricated answers, disconnected from one another and despite all the factual proof and goodwill I could provide them, Vinted decided to take it even a step further and permanently block my entire account on the grounds of selling inauthentic items. And later also blocking me out of my inbox so I could not contact them anymore. For me, this is not only about the money and time I lost, but about basic principles and respect. If they can’t authenticate certain brands with absolute certainty they should not advertise this option. I can only conclude by this one sided decision in favor of the buyer , despite all the proof against him and me providing multiple proofs of authenticity, that they have no idea how tell if this item was real or not and decided to rule in favor of the buyer without further inquiries. The problem with this however is that it sets the door wide open for people like the one who scammed me to just buy an item, claim it’s inauthentic, receive the money back and on top of that keep the item. Sounds like a scammers dream if you ask me. I hope Vinted can reverse it's decision towards my account and settle for a compensation. I also demand an apology for the unfair treatment and false accusations I had to endure, to end this dispute once and for all. Thank you Best regards

This is ridiculous. It’s been 3+ weeks and all I’ve received is another automated message. This is very poor customer service, not worth anything. Frankly I would be surprised if this is legal. I deserve a fair treatment as a customer. If I don’t get any substantial reply from a legit representative soon I will have to take further actions…
