HiI have recently fallen victim to a fraudulent activity involving Onebip S.R.L. Here's how it went down:I was contacted by a friend of mine on Facebook, saying she had entered a contest and needed to obtain as many votes as possible to win, and she asked my for my phone number to secure a vote. I didn't see any harm in it, what could go wrong with giving someone your number? A couple of seconds later, I got a text message with a certain code, She told me that's the code she needed to secure a vote. It really didn't smell fishy at the time, I thought I was helping out a friend getting a trip to Tokyo or whatever, so I just gave her that code... (Afterwards it seemed that her Facebook account was hacked.)Moments later I received a notification from my provider saying that I made a payment of €18.96 to Onebip, and this amount was added to my monthly bill. There was really no way of knowing I would lose any money. After doing some internet research, I noticed that this isn't the first case of fraud involving Onebip, and it definitely won't be the last if they don't act on this. My conclusion: There is clearly something wrong with ONEBIP's business model. They are obviously very susceptible to fraudulent activities, so they will need to make changes in their payment services.
