Hello, I was surfing the internet and came across a website which was offering attractive deals. I 'bidded' (I should say that I wrote the lowest prices in a box without any knowledge of consequences) for few of them just out of curiosity. The website instantaneously generated bills (three in numbers) and sent to my email account. But after clicking into the details of the tour packages from the bills, I found the travel dates and itinerary weren't suitable. They did not disclose the dates and, even in some packages, the travel destination was not mentioned before sending/generating the bills. It became available only after getting the bills. They say first you pay for the deal then decide your dates and destinations, airports etc.Due to unsuitable travelling options and conditions, I did not pay them and didn't book any tour packages. But after two months or so they sent me a legal notice for non payments of their bills. I am telling them that I am not interested in their deals or any packages. But they are saying that I am legally bound to pay as it is the rule of bidding. If I remember correctly they did not mention that ever, while bidding their tour packages online and moreover while bidding, no specification was revealed about the dates for travel or even the location of the trip.I am feeling a bit helpless as I never encountered such forced legal problems or never did any online bidding for tour packages. I unfortunately clicked the bidding button without realizing possible risks. The website appears to be fictitious. The most funny thing is that, even though the website calls it a bidding process, but the same cheap deals are always available online and anyone can 'bid' anytime. I did it without the knowledge of such illogical nature of bidding process. The terms and conditions of bidding was not explicitly disclosed in the website language. Now they are trying to force me to pay, first by threatening with a lawyer and now asking for cancellation fee and other charges which I find is their unethical business practices of earning money online. How people can offer such cheap 139 Euro for 8 days of trip within Europe (no mention of location, mind it) with hotel and flight tickets? It is believable once in a while during sale but can not always be available on a website in the name of bidding. Are you and your deals fake or real? By nature of your pursuance of me to pay for the deal/cancellation, which never happened, it seems that you are forcing people into unethical deals. Please stop harassing people by asking for money for the tour deals, which they inquired online out of curiosity.Thank you.
