Dear Thai Airways
I am writing to follow up on our baggage claim (File Ref. BKDTG36304) concerning damaged and pilfered baggage on flight TG029 (Ubon Ratchathani – Bangkok) on 18 August 2025.
It has now been over two months since our initial report and submission of all supporting documents (Damage Report, Police Report, photos, and list of missing items).
To date, we have not received any further update or settlement from Thai Airways regarding our claim for €612.99 of lost items + the damage to our lugage.
As a reminder, the missing items were as follows:
• Acqua di Giò Parfum €194
• Braun electric shaver €129.99
• Contact lenses (6 month) €160
• Oral-B electric toothbrush €104
• Toiletry bag — €25
Total claimed amount: €612.99
Under Article 17(2) of the Montreal Convention, Thai Airways is liable for damage and loss of checked baggage. I therefore kindly request an update on the status of my claim, and confirmation of the expected settlement date.
