Dear Test Aankoop,
On behalf of Thai Airways International, we hereby would like to apologize for all the inconveniences your customers have suffered due to the delay of our flight TG93404 feb 2025 BKK BRU
After investigation of your case, we have unfortunately to inform you that according to the European law 261/2004 , the compensation for delayed flight is not applicable for your case since our THAI delayed flight has departure in a city outside Europe (departure in Bangkok) and THAI is a non-European carrier, in such case no compensation for delay of flight can be offered for return flight with arrival in Europe. European law 261/2004 compensation for delay more than 4 hours for long haul flight is not applicable to our delay as it was a return flight delay for an airline not based in Europe (non-European carrier) with departure outside Europe.
Thus, we are afraid that we must turn down your request for further liability and we are sorry to disappoint you in this respect.
We do hope that the next flight on Thai Airways International will be more comfor and enjoyable .
In the meanwhile, we remain,
---
