I have already sent two claims :

but I will try a third time before taking my claim further… I will repeat and summarise my claim:
On 01/08/24 I had the flight TK0051 van NRT (10.35 AM) to IST( 5.45PM) and a transfer with flight TK1941 from IST(6.50 PM) to Brussels (9.20 PM). The first flight landed a little late and but had to taxi quite a bit. In answer to my first claim, you admitted that the total delay was about 16 min. Then I had to queue to get off the plane and through luggage control. The connecting flight was NOT on the screen in the plane, so I had to
a) search for the correct gate and
b) walk very far to get there. I was too late and missed my connection.... (from international terminal where I arrived to gate B12B was more than 20 min walk!!).I only had 65 min minus 16 min minus getting of plane minus luggage control minus long walk to correct gate . When I arrived, the gates where closed…
I went to the Turkish airlines desk, where they agreed it had been impossible to get to my plane on time. They gave me a ticket for a sandwich and a new boarding pass FOR THE NEXT DAY (flight TK 1937)!! I had to (try to) sleep IN the airport on a very hard and uncomfortable chair, together with about 50 other persons, with lights on and lots of noise - impossible to sleep. No toiletries, no breakfast, no apologies.
I had to contact home as I have animals that needed an extra day care ( phone + pay for extra care).
I had to pay extra for the parking lot in Brussels as I was a day too late.
I would like to insist on compensation for the delay : from 6.50 pm on 01/08/2024 to 8.45 am on 02/08/2024(new flight was 45 min late!).
I would also like compensation for the extra expenses I made:
€ 41 for the reserved seat (I can give you a copy as proof)
€ 20 for the extra day for the animal carers (I can give you written proof)
€ 15 for the extra day car parc (I can give you written proof)
€ 100 for the mental damage : treating a 70 years old lady disrespectful, letting her sleep in a inappropriate environment without any hygienic possibilities.
