Dear,I have an internet provider Telenet. But in Feb 2022, I also contacted Proximus Belgium with whom I requested for installation. Then I informed them not to come. They came anyway conveying me to listen their offers. They came and told their offers. I then refused for connection. Then they told me to inform them that I refused to have connections. I informed them on that there is no installation on my house and they said okay. Then I started receiving emails of bill to be paid but I could not login to my Proximus account. Then I kept informing them that there's no connection at my house, but I still kept receiving bills for 4 months even though I clearly informed there's no internet connection from Proximus. After that I was badgered with letter from Omerus law firm informing me I need to pay bills for 4 months. I informed them on email that about the situation after talking on them. Now, they come back on email and claim that since I have created web order online, and it went on 4 months, I have to pay bills for 4 months (they ask me to pay 356.4 euros now). How should I best counter this legally? I have proof that I have internet bills that I paid, from Telenet during the same period I am being sued to pay bills to Proximus. I also have email that I sent to Omerus explaining the situation about Proximus not cancelling my account. I have lost so much time and effort in dealing with this, I think I would like to have compensation in return for the torture. Kindly help me, thanks in advance.
