op 04/03/2024 krijgen we het volgende bericht van Gotogate :
Hi Lucien,
We regret to inform you that your flight with order number MU94YY has been cancelled by the airline.
We can request a refund from the airline on your behalf. If approved, we will return the whole refunded amount to your original payment method.
Wij hebben een refund aangevraagd omdat de andere aangeboden opties van de luchtvaartmij voor ons niet in aanmerking kwamen.
We hebben het hiervoor beschikbare formulier ingevuld .
hierop kregen we dezelfde dag nog een antwoord :

This is a no-reply email confirming your request has been received and added to our queue.
When processed, you will receive a cancelation confirmation.
Once received from the airline, your refund will be forwarded to your original form of payment.

We would like to inform you that we have cancelled your order MU94YY as per your confirmation. We will now request a refund from the airline for your booking due to a schedule change.
Once the airline approves the refund request, we will return the whole refunded amount to your original payment method. Kindly note that we cannot complete your refund request until we receive the reimbursement from the airline.

na nog maar eens een navraag en het bewijs van LOT Airways dat ze het betaalde bedrag al overgemaakt hebben aan Gotogate :

De vluchtannulatie gebeurde door de luchtvaartmaatschapppij , NIET door ons
Het is extreem moeilijk om iemand telefonisch te contacteren bij Gotogate . Geen enkel telefoonnr te vinden op hun website.
We zijn nu 11 maanden verder en we hebben nog steeds ons geld niet terug : € 1569.65
Ik merk op uw klachtensite dat wij niet de enige zijn die hiermee geconfronteerd wordt bij dit bedrijf
