After receiving different emails from the Knowledge Academy advertising up to 75% discounts on business related trainings , I decided to book a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for €595. When contacting the sales representative, Zain, it turned out that despite the last advertisement has been sent the same morning, and the promotion still ran for the whole day (11/04/2025), there were no more discounts available.
After discussing, I told them I was not interested anymore at full price, as the promotion was what triggered my decission.
Eventually he asked his superior and got approval to sell the training at the advertised €595. After paying the fee on the spot, I did not hear anymore from Zain, nor the Knowledge Academy. After 2 weeks of reminders, the sales representative finally admitted that he did not get any approval from the right people and I had the pay the full amount (€1195+VAT). He promised a full refund but untill now I have not seen the amount or received any accounting note.
I demand now to refund my €595 back + invoice + credit note reversing this amount.
In the meantime, I see on the website that these offers still continue. This is a scam that is not allowed in Belgium to offer promotions without sufficient stock. In the case of a non-tangible product, this is not even the risk, it is organised scam. These fraudulent practices should be stopped immediately!
Next to the refund, I want a compensation for this unprofessional experience.
