Cheval Liberté with pullman support a danger on the road !!!

The trailer less than 5 years old got already a remark at the yearly inspection. The inspection instance thought that only the rubber was worn out but after analysis the pullman support arm causes a danger on the road. The welding of the axe at wheel side is completely (100%) loose, the support arm was for 4/5th cracked and the welding of the axe at the other side of the support arm was almost completely loose too. See detailed pictures enclosed. With other words we were VERY Lucky that this axe wasn't broken off while driving the car with the whole family on board and 4 horses on the trailer. We have used this trailer in that bad condition on weekly basis aimed to transport our 4 horses. The second year after the purchase and after 2 times getting a simular remark at the inspection instance we went to a garage with a good reputation. They found out this safety damage on the PULLMAN SUPPORT ARM of our Cheval Liberté. Very strange but the importer Haken Ag. for the Benelux makes a judgement only based on the pictures. They reported as rootcause the corrosion on the PULLMAN SUPPORT ARM of our Cheval Liberté. First of all corrosion can't cause such metal crackes and broken welding joints. Secondly, in case the PULLMAN SUPPORT ARM is sensitive to corrosion than it's due to a bad assembly process and NO corrosion treatment at manufacterer-side, thus their responsability. And the really biggest joke is that Haken AG. isn't customer friendly...they required the full price of the replacement parts, namely 2250€ which is 50% of a completely new 2-horse trailer. So this will motivate us to buy certainly no CHEVAL LIBERTé trailer anymore in the future!!!
