Your role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Digital Channel Expert to lead the growth and optimization of our digital touchpoints at the group level. In this pivotal role, you will drive digital business success by enhancing traffic, engagement, and revenue across websites and apps, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful digital initiatives. - Develop and manage all media relations, build a network of media contacts and boost outreach in major European and global media outlets.
- Create strategic communication messages and material.
- Manage and boost existing social media channels (Linkedin) to reach ambitious targets.
- Create visuals and videos for social media, website and other communication outlets in line with Euroconsumers’ strategic branding.
- Develop innovative campaign material to support our messages and branding i.a. for our litigation activities and position papers.
- Secure alignment with our national organisations and co-create communication activities.
- Manage Euroconsumers website and monthly publication of relevant and impactful articles.
- Manage and reinvent Euroconsumers’ monthly Start Talking webinars.
- Support in organizing Euroconsumers events, secure promotion and exploitation in communication.
- Support in preparing and exploitating representation activities.
Qualifications
- You have a master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Law, Political Science or History.
- You have a relevant experience (at least 2-5 years) in managing media relations at EU/global level and communication/PR.
- You have a background or relevant experience in creating visuals, videos, graphic design.
- A background in (European/international) policy is an absolute plus.
- Social media have no secret for you.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills. You find it easy to collaborate with others.
- You are native or Fluent English - French and Dutch are a big asset/advantage.
- You are pretty good at analysing and summarising complex information.
- You are a highly organized, detail-oriented, and rigorous person.
- You are business-oriented and solution-minded.
- You are creative, think out of the box and a team player.
About you
- More than 5 years of experience in digital product management, digital marketing or e-commerce, ideally in the publishing, media, or content industry
- Strong understanding of website performance metrics, SEO, user behaviour, and conversion optimization
- Familiar with tools such as GA4, ContentSquare, Tag Manager, and A/B testing platforms
- Familiar with AI-assisted content delivery, recommendation engines, or personalization platforms
- Experience in digital engagement, conversion optimization and SEO
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights
- Collaborative and organized, able to work across multiple specialty teams
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
